Born to Jamaican immigrants in the Bronx, NY, Scott Neufville moved to Boston in 1993, the same year in which the sudden fame and success of his cousin Renee, co-founder of the R&B duo 'Zhane,' would inspire him. In Boston Scott would earn a Bachelors degree in Film and Broadcast from Boston University, but after earning his Masters from Northeastern University in the year 2000, Scott would finally make the bold decision to fulfill a lifelong dream; to pursue a career in acting. As it was for most New England-based minorities aspiring to act in films during the early 2000s, the beginning was considerably difficult. "It was hard back then..." said Scott. "It was a struggle just to get work as an extra in student films." But with faith and determination learned from his years in school, and in the ring as an amateur boxer, Scott Neufville managed to level the playing field inspite of the odds. In addition to growing critical acclaim, Scott has so far appeared onscreen with the likes of Kevin James, Matthew McConaughey, Christina Milian, and Jimmy Jean-Louis. Several films in which Scott will soon appear include Beyond Measure Production's 'The Last Shot,' and Bway 7 Production's 'Beyond Control' with Mike Starr and Fred Williamson, but his films 'Walls Have Ears,' 'Si Se Puede,' and 'The Green Card' are already in distribution. 'Walls Have Ears' and 'The Green Card' can be purchased at www.indieflix.com while 'Si Se Puede' can currently be purchased at www.amazon.com.
